Fashion Design Collection - Teen Workshop

The Details:
In this workshop, you'll begin with a classic skirt pattern and transform it into a one-of-a-kind design. Learn how to modify and customize your skirt, from choosing the right fabric to adding unique details that showcase your creativity. You’ll gain hands-on experience using sewing machines (provided in class) as you work step-by-step to bring your design to life.

What you'll learn:
The class will cover the basics of operating a sewing machine, how to read and modify a pattern to suit your design vision, Techniques for adding custom touches like pockets, trims, and hems, and Tips on fabric selection and working with different materials. While the class provides sewing machines, fabric, and materials, they are not included in the registration fee, allowing you to choose the fabrics that best match your style. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a custom-made skirt that reflects your unique fashion sense and the skills to continue exploring fashion design.

We provide sewing machines for our teen camps, and materials and fabric are required for class.
