Just like you, we love the warm summer months so, in order that we can enjoy this time with our families and friends, we'll be closed on Sundays from Memorial Day weekend through the end of September. We'll be reopening on Sundays at the beginning of October. Meanwhile, double check your supplies so you don't run short on a Sunday!

Join our newest instructor, Martha, and learn how to put that software purchase to good use. (And sitting in the box isn't one of them!) Martha will start at the beginning, and this will be a great way to get your feet wet with your amazing new software! This is a perfect class for those of you who purchased the Floriani software at the Anita Goodesign/Steve Wilson event, but Martha's tips will work with most software packages.

Saturday, June 9 - 2-5pm - Martha Weingard - $35

For all of you with 6 and 10-needle embroidery machines...Or even if one of these machines is on your wishlist...mark your calendars! Martha will have lots of cool suggestions for you to make your embroidery foolproof and professional. At this session, Martha will be taking an inside look at the settings on your machine as well as demoing the use of your machine's software to do lettering.

DISNEY T-SHIRT CLASS - NO MACHINE NEEDED!

Do you just love those adorable t-shirts with one of the Disney characters embroidered on the front? They are so easy! Even if you don't have an embroidery machine! Bring your own t-shirt and Debbie will walk you through the whole (very simple!) process and go home with your own adorable shirt! Sorry, class is only for those without Disney embroidery machines!

BERNINA CLUB WITH JILL BRALEY

If you own a Bernina, these classes are absolutely the best way to learn every facet of what these amazing machines can do for you. Jill begins a new series this fall, with all new classes and projects. Classes will focus on techniques, and Jill will cover how and what they are used for, and any feet or accessories that make things easier. So, whether you are a returning Bernina Club member or a newbie, check out our BERNINA clubs!

• Bernina Embroidery Club

  The time is here for all inexperienced embroiderers to dust off your unused or rarely used embroidery module. Calling all levels, including absolute beginners, all models (165, 170, 180, 185, 200, 430, 440, 450, 630, 640, 730, or 830) are welcome!!! Learn how easy embroidery can be...and Jill is a "pro" to help you on your first run! From a simple monogram on napkins or towels, quilt labels, adorn your clothing or home dec items. You will be able to do it. This club will also enhance your knowledge of embroidery and facilitate the achievement of professional results through the teaching of a variety of techniques. Choose daytime or early evening.

• Bernina Technique and Sewing Club

  This club will enhance and grow your knowledge of features and accessories so that you are able to use your BERNINA machine to its fullest potential with all of its amazing features. Techniques learned will be applicable to Garment, Crafting, Embellishment, Quilting, and Home Dec sewing. Join in as we learn to use the correct features, accessories and notions that save us time and help us to accomplish our sewing with professional results. Open to all BERNINA machines – old and new! Choose Sundays or Mondays.

• Bernina 830 Club

  This club will enhance and grow your knowledge of the amazing 8 Series machine...Customizing the machine to your preferences and using the features that are specific to the 830. In the process, your creative juices will start to flow.

BYRNE'S 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

Begins Saturday, July 21st and ends Friday, August 3rd

We'll be kicking off our 12 Days of Christmas with an Open House on Saturday, July 21st. We'll be featuring one of our new instructors, Martha Weinguard and she'll have lots of new ideas for you to incorporate into your holiday plans. Plan to stop in and say "Hi" to Martha and see what else we have planned. Each day during our 12 days of celebration, we'll have something special on sale as well as a plethora(!) of fun ideas!

Get to Know your HandiQuilter with Debbie Brown

Debby Brown, HQ Educator and quilter extraordinaire, will be here for two days to show you everything you want to know about the fabulous HandiQuilter mid-arms. These machines unleash your creativity. If you have one – you know – and if it's still on your wishlist, this is a perfect time to get acquainted with what it can do! And..throughout both days, we'll be adding in tips for those of you who want to take your quilting to another level and turn it into a business. Attend both days - $40 (includes lite lunch both days!)

• 11-1pm - HQ Basics - This class starts from the beginning so you can see just how easy it is to set up your HQ and get started. You'll also talk about the various ways you can use your HQ and tips and tricks to get you quilting like a pro right from the start!

• 2-4pm - Pro-Stitcher Basics - The Pro-Stitcher offers the best of both worlds: computerized quilting and free-motion quilting with the flick of a switch. See how easy this is and learn the basics of using the Pro-Stitcher.

Wednesday, August 8 - Both sessions - $25 (includes lite lunch)

• 11-1pm - Beyond HQ Basics - Learn to quilt like a pro, with more detailed information about using tools.

• 2-4pm - Beyond the Basics with Your Pro-Stitcher - The Pro-Stitcher has so many capabilities. Debbie will show you how to put it through its paces to give you all the flexibility you need to be creative!

PA NATIONAL QUILT EXTRAVAGANZA

Thursday-Sunday, September 13-16

It is so nice to have such a fabulous quilt show back in our neck of the woods. Once again this year we'll be vending for Brother and HandiQuilter at the quilt show at Oaks, and we'll be bringing lots of fun machines for you to try. We'll have some awesome quilt show specials, so be sure to stop in and say "hi!"

SAVE THESE DATES!

• October 19th & 20th - Mid-Arm Seminar - An entire weekend dedicated to mid-arm machines. We'll have classes for those of you with mid-arms as well as events for those of you with one on your wishlist, so circle the date! Details to follow.

• October 26th & 27th - Experience Heaven with a BabyLock - This is a great way to see and learn about our incredible BabyLock machines. They are simply amazing (as many of you can attest!), but if your haven't yet discovered how easy they make EVERYTHING, plan to join us, and our BabyLock rep, Tano, and experience heaven! Again, details to follow!
