"Let's Travel" by Dot Rauscher
"Let's Travel" is a traditional "Trip Around the World" pattern. Using the strip piecing and assembly directions in a Quilter's Newsletter Magazine made it easy and fast to piece the top. I decided to try my hand at machine quilting it using diagonal lines through the small squares and patterns in the borders, a bit of a challenge due to its size. It is truly a practical, well used quilt, covering my visiting relatives on their overnight (or longer) stays with me.
