"Wyoming Star" by Carol Breinig
This quilt was made as a wall hanging to compliment but not distract from the rest of the room. It was adapted from a Carol Doak paper-pieced stars book. The trapunto and quilting, as well as the piecing were done on my regular Bernina. Pockets on the top and bottom allow the piece to hang evenly in the event of any discrepancies in the density of the quilting. Free arm quilting in the border was great fun.
