This SPECTACULAR monthly event is one of the highlights of our shop! If you are a veteran of this club you know what we are talking about! Every month from October through June we invite world class professionals to our store to share their knowledge and life experiences with our customers. Our guest speakers have national or international recognition and lecture on various topics, e.g., fashion sewing, quilting, fiber arts, heirloom sewing, and much, much more. In addition to a great line up of special speakers, our customers enjoy refreshments, show and tell, fun, friendship, and sewing excitement. The cost is for the whole season is just $125 or $25 per session if you choose to come for just one or two meetings, and we will prorate the initial annual cost as the year progresses. These programs are always one of the highlights of our month, so come see just how much fun they can be!

February 7th & 8th - Sue Pelland
Sue Pelland - designer of Leaves Galore Templates will share a trunk show and lecture that illustrates the time saving rotary cutting techniques she has developed over the past few years. An extensive demo will illustrate the basics of cutting simple appliqué shapes without making plastic templates, marking with a pencil, or cutting with scissors! Leaves, vines, ribbons, and flowers will be covered. You will be amazed at the simplicity of this fun, fast, and fabulous cutting method for appliqué!

March 6th & 7th - Joanne Banko
Joanne Banko - Joanne is energetic and innovative and although her original training is in professional dressmaking and patternmaking, Joanne has an unbelievable knowledge of sewing, serging and embroidery. She has written articles for several national sewing publications, and is a frequent contributor to the popular Designs in Machine Embroidery magazine. She is especially fond of designing original sewing and embroidery projects and helping sewers make the most of their creative tools.
April 3rd & 4th - Debbie Wendt
Debbie Wendt - Debbie lived in Cairo for eight years and became fascinated with Egyptian Tentmakers pieces. This is a style of appliqué, which has been done for thousands of years. It originated when the tentmakers would make decorative appliqués to cover tears or holes in their tents (Sounds a little familiar, doesn't it?!!) or to decorate them. It has evolved into a huge market for tourists. There is even a street called "The Tentmaker's Street." Come see her incredible collection!
May 1st & 2nd - Judy Hansen
Judy Hansen - "Get Your quilts done in a fraction of the time with Quick easy patterns and Machine Quilting techniques - Beginning to advanced!" As a shop owner and quilter with 30 years of experience, Judy has collected lots of ways to get your quilt finished - fast. June 5th & 6th - Patricia Pepe
Patricia Pepe - Patricia loves to share the 'magic' of the X-Blocks rotary cutting tool. If you have never seen a quilt made with X-Blocks, you will be amazed! The stunning, original, complex-appearing quilts are delightfully easy to piece and you'll be fascinated by the endless design possibilities. Beginners are thrilled by the simple technique and advanced quilters are fascinated with the unlimited design potential. Loads of fun!
