BOMs & Other Stuff!
S37 Sewing Circle
We welcome Jane to our shop and are excited to introduce you to her amazing skill set. She is an experienced teacher in many different aspects of sewing and so we thought we might have a little sampler class where each month we feature a different technique. The idea is to uncover some of those hidden or unused capabilities of your machine that you can put to work for you in your everyday sewing. We'll be exploring different needles, different features and different ways to use what you already know. Open to Bernina, BabyLock, Brother and Juki, too! We're really excited about this club so come on in and let us know what you think!
Wednesdays - 1/18, 2/15, 3/15, 4/19 - 1:30-4:30pm
Hoop Sisters Sewn Seeds
Just a couple of more sessions!
Thursdays - 1/12 (all 6-7pm), 2/9 - (6-8pm)
Comfort Quilts meets each month to make quilts for children who are in need of the comforting hug a quilt brings. Mark your calendars and plan to stop in and lend a helping hand...and make some new friends in the process!
Mondays - 1/9, 2/13, 3/13, 4/10 - 10-2pm
Reach to Recovery Tote Bags and Pillows
Join us as we meet to make tote bags and pillows for breast cancer patients. Bring your sewing machine and sewing supplies. Pre-cut kits are provided for the tote bags and pillows. We also need help stuffing the pillows, pressing and trimming. Come for an hour or come for the day. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. The tote bags and pillows are donated to the American Cancer Society's Reach To Recovery support program. We also give tote bags to the ACS free wig program.
Please contact Linda at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Friday - 3/31 - 10-5pm
