BOMs & Other Stuff!
Kaffe Fassett BOM
If you haven't seen our Kaffe BOM, you have to stop in to get the full effect! It is stunning... full of his rich, saturated colors and just enough traditional blocks to keep everyone smiling! This quilt is a mix of old and new, with the intermingling of some fun traditional blocks as well as some contemporary blocks in a fresh custom setting designed by Kathleen. The picture doesn't do it justice, so be sure and check it out the next time you're in.
This is a 10-month pick-up BOM which started in February, but you can still catch up! You will receive one or more blocks each month (but not so much that you'll be overwhelmed!) and you can pay either $15 monthly for the ten months, or receive a nice discount by paying upfront - $125. Book purchase required - Modern Blocks by Suzanne Woods for $24.95, unless you already have it. Monthly $15 for 10 months or pay a total of $125 up front. Book purchase required.

Gingerbread Village BOM
We are well into making this BOM, but if you love this quilt, we still have one kit left! We are making our interpretation of this cute quilt, and you can purchase the kit and complete everything on your own with easy piecing and machine appliqué. At her optional monthly classes, Joyce will talk about embellishment and the secrets of putting this quilt together as a quilt-as-you-go so when you’re done...It’s done!!! Either way, this is a great heirloom you’ll have ready for next Christmas!

Let's Get Organized!
A new POM (Project of the Month!) from By Annie
We'll be meeting at Byrne again in May for our final POM and our project will be Annie's Catch All Caddy. This bag is a must have for sewers, with multiple pockets inside and out to organize all your notions and make them easy to find as well as carry. This is our favorite project in the series. You will absolutely love this bag and find so many ways to use it. We bet you'll want to make several!
Fridays - 5/20 - 10-4pm
Bring Chocolate Modern Sewing Group
This group is for sewists who think out of the box (of chocolates!) and they strive to look at sewing in a new way. Meetings are held at 7pm on the second Monday of each month and include a monthly challenge. Give us a call for details of this month's challenge.
Tuesdays - 5/10, 6/14, 7/12, 8/9-7pm
Comfort Quilts meets each month to make quilts for children who are in need of the comforting hug a quilt brings. Mark your calendars and plan to stop in and lend a helping hand...and make some new friends in the process!
Mondays - 5/9, 6/13, 7/11, 8/8 - 10-2pm
Cozy Cases and Conkerr Pillowcases
Cozy Cases is a program begun by Sew Smart Fabrics to benefit Doylestown Hospital's new pediatric unit. The Bring Chocolate Modern Sewing Group is showing their support for our local hospital by donating hand-sewn pillowcases for children admitted as patients. This will be an ongoing need and we're inviting our loyal customers to join in!
We are pleased to announce that we are now a drop off point for pillowcases made for both the Cozy Cases project at Doylestown Hospital as well as for the Conkerr Cancer Center. Both of these provide cheery pillow cases for hospitalized children that serve as a bright spot and remind them that folks care. If you would like to contribute, you can find general guidelines for making cases on the Conkerr site here, or stop in if you have any questions.
